Argatoria Beta Rules from Spellcrow
Today we are giving you the English rules for the Argatoria battle game in the test version. Much will change in this rulebook in terms of both rules and illustrations. We'll have to improve a lot, but we want you to be able to play. In May we will announce the release date of the game and any products that will be released for it, such as army deals and army starter sets. Soon we will create a group "Argatoria", to which we will want to invite you. Enjoy reading and testing the rules!
Best Regards,
Spellcrow Team

Soviet Ordnance Set No.1 from Armory Models Group
A while ago we've announced a 1/144 Su-24 Fencer kit with big number of various ordnance included. We tried our hardest, but such move would significantly increase kit's price and put you all off.
After careful consideration and discussions within the team we decided to do better than this, and to launch a bunch of ordnance sets that would be universal for any Soviet modern aircraft type. So, here it is, introducing our next future release - 1/144 Soviet Ordnance Set No.1 - guided Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface missiles.
Soviet Ordnance Set No.1
Here is the list of what to see in this set:

This update is specifically for backers new to Bot War. In this update I show a picture of my painted Infesters including the Queen. You can see a Vallejo paint bottle in that pic to see how large Bot War models are.
Also a couple of older studio pics of metal Bot War models already released to help you get a feel for the game.

Project Update #16: BOT WAR Miniature Game, Kickstarter from Traders Galaxy
Bot War is an 8mm human scale skirmish game with models ranging in size from 8mm up to 120mm
Deceivers Partial Unlock!! Added Value
Hi All,
In order to boost this campaign and maximise value for my loyal customers I have auto unlocked all I am possibly able to unlock to see this campaign through to the end :). This means that Communicator, Panic, Dread and Terror will be added automatically to everyone's rewards pledges.
As some of you may not know. The average size of Bot War Bots is 47mm. Most of the Deceivers are 50mm and larger. The Queen for the Infesters pledge for example is on a 100mm oval base and is 120mm tall. So even though Bot War is 8-10mm human scale, most of the miniatures are quite a bit larger than most miniature games out there. When I think about it, its quite a large part of Bot War to just not mention :) as this would be quite important to people new to the game. My sincere apologies.
I am glad to reward all my pledges with this additional value unlock. I hope this boosts the confidence of those looking to pledge and reassures my existing backers that I am committed to offering the best possible product I can.
Deceivers Update
Cheers,
Anthony

Up Running Again from P.G. Models
Up running again
I’ve had a re-think and have just done another trip to my local post office. It’s probably safe enough to go there now and again, but I shall limit my visits to about once a fortnight.
The P G Models website is open again, with two new models. First off is the Humber 1 ton Truck,
This little model has been an absolute swine to make, mainly due to the compound curves around the bonnet and front wheel arches. It’s been one of those models where I’ve worked on it for a few weeks, got completely stuck trying to do one part and so put it down for several weeks until I think I’ve worked out how to make it, and so on, until eventually I’ve managed to complete it.
Here you can see the Humber 1 ton Truck with painted versions in green, sand colour, and in bare pewter. In front of them is the master pattern of the “Light Wireless” (small radio truck) Humber. This has also now been cast and added to the range.
Both of these vehicles are included in the excellent book “The Humber 1600 Series” by Jochen Vollert and is highly recommended. Jochen now runs Tankograd Publishing which is a German company with a large range of A4 paperback booklets covering a variety of topics, mainly WWII and Post War German vehicles and equipment as well as US vehicles, and a large range of British vehicles. Most pages have just two large pictures per page, which makes them an ideal reference source for any model makers. The next model that I want to make is the Bedford TM, and I have the Tankograd book about the TM in front of me now. My main source for these Tankograd books is Bookworld Wholesale in Stourport-on-Severn who have a good quality mail order service, and frequently attend a number of military modelling shows (with a 10% discount to MAFVA members).
In between work on the two Humbers, I have also been working on another N gauge model railway layout. At the very start when I finished work in 2003, I wanted to build a layout of Haverfordwest railway station to show the military traffic to and from the Castlemartin ranges. No one else made models of the vehicles that I wanted, and so I made them myself, which eventually lead into me starting P G Models. Haverfordwest was only used for military traffic after the Goods Yard at Pembroke closed down in the mid 1970s. Prior to that, Pembroke station and its goods yard behind the station was used from WWI right through to the mid 1970s. I lived in Pembroke in the late 1960s/early 70s, although never even thought about photographing the station. This for me is the logical next move after making my Haverfordwest layout. Having made a number of models for the 1990s and 2000s, it now might be interesting to do some more for the 1960s. I already have three Ferrets and two Saracens. I’ll need to think of some other suitable vehicles as wagon loads.
Here’s the station nearly finished. It is made from two Ratio station kits and platforms, with a Ratio signal, a cast resin Nissen Hut (to the left) and a ‘guessed at’ scratchbuilt parcels office between them.

We have managed to get the pattern for the Valentine III off to a casting company. Hopefully it will be available by mid May. We are still working ( slowly ) on several other new models at the moment, the Sherman Jumbo, Sherman Crab , which is causing some head scratching , Bedford refuelling bowser and Matador flatbed and bowser.
Stay safe and well.

WWII Italian Photos
The latest batch of painted vehicles arrived from Jason at J.A.D Designs this week, including all of our WWII Italian vehicles. These look excellent in the desert colours, so hats off to Jason for his work here.
Incidentally, if anyone knows the proper designation of the command truck in ITA19, let us know! I can't seem to find any pictures online of anything similar, so I'm not sure of the original manufacturer or model name/number.
