I've been working on a set of structures to create a modular Outpost for Science Fiction alien races.
The structures can be used for any alien race and although they are designed for use with Heroic Scale games like Warhammer 40K, you can scale the buildings down for use in any game scale.
Several of the buildings have removable sections so you can place models inside.
All of the models are separated into parts for printing, but the layout of the parts will vary depending on your printer the size of the printer bed. depending on the size of your printer bed you may have to slice some parts into smaller sections.
I decided to keep this Kickstarter easy, so one pledge will get you the STL files to print out all of the structures for the Outpost.
The second backer level includes the STL files for the structures from my previous Kickstarter, 3d Printable Sci-fi Buildings for Tabletop Wargames.

Barracks (front and back views)
Power Generator (Or could be used as a shield generator)
Hangar Bay (can be used for suits or small vehicles)
Landing Pad (designed to fit medium-sized vehicles, but can be scaled up for larger ones)

The first Stretch Goal will be set at $2000 and include the STL files for these optional components:
Energy Fence (comprises of 3 components; energy fence, Antenna, and corner Antenna)
Sensor Array
Detail Structures (can be used as extra antenna on the towers or you can print them out larger to be used a stand-alone structures)
Cargo Container and crate (cargo container has separate doors that can be modelled opened or closed)
The Second Stretch Goal is set at $2200 and will include these two new structures,
The first can be used as a military or civilian building. The upper platform can be removed and replaced with the Landing Pad as well.
The second structure is still in-progress, but can be used as a scenic structure or objective marker.

Risks and challenges
All of the components have been checked for printability using Meshmixer and there are no physical items to ship so the risk is minimal.
There are so many different printers and slicer programs available that I can't account for every situation that comes up, but if you come across any issues with printing let me know and I'll do what I can to help get your model to print properly.
