A full new line of 10mm miniatures for fantasy wargaming by Laran Miniatures Help me create and produce a full range of 10mm miniatures to wargame with.
After sculpting and using a previous campaign (in the dark ages of 2014) to produce my first range (Evil men miniatures), my love for 10mm only grew. You can always have a look here : Laran miniatures.
I since connected with a bunch of 10mm enthusiasts playing Fantasy games in 10mm. I produced more minis thanks to the financial participation of the members of the Minihammer group on FB. Thank you very much Martin Dahl for pestering me about your need of 10mm characters. Thanks to everyone else for trusting me. Painted more.
I feel it is now time to introduce a full new range : The Unseen.
From their underground lairs, the Unseen pour on the world to finally reclaim their legitimate possession : survival of the fittest. Nobody has ever meet one of these abhumans and survived to tell his story. Hearsays state that you can have a glimpse at some disgusting grouts and tails if you have the misfortune to cross path with one of them ; they never lurk alone though.
I propose to bring to life these evil lurkers with core units, characters, monsters, warmachines and more...With your help I'll pay for all the moulds (preproduction and production) and get the machine going.
The range - description and pricing
I intend to produce 10 different packs to begin with :
- 5€ - Warriors : 20 assorted one hand weapons with shields. Banner and musician included.
- 5€ - Slaves : 20 blades. 2 slavers with whip included.
- 5€ - Lep-priests : 20 flails bearer. Banner included.
- 5€ - Nin-rats : 20 assorted one hand weapons. (Even seen some throwing stars in there). Banner and musician included.
- 5€ - Techno-elite : 20 elite warriors with two handed great weapons. Banner and musician included.
- 5€ - Ra-trolls : 4 giant unholy creatures. (eye-level : 20mm)
- 10€ - Characters : 5 human sized heroes and 1 Ra-troll leader.
- 7€ - Great Avatar : Incarnation of the god of the Unseen (eye-level 28mm)
- 8€ - Wheel of misfortune : one giant machinery to roll onto your enemies. (30mm diameter)
- 10€ - Multipurpose Frame : one giant machinery pushed around by 2 Ra-trolls. Included 3 options to build a catapult trébuchet, an energy cannon or a giant wrecking ball.

My friend Martin made me the honour of painting some pre-production models.
Perks and stretch goals
Since I intend to produce a full range, I'll propose a variety of perks to choose from, depending on the investment you want to put in the campaign. Obviously, the more you spend, the greater the discount ! You'll then receive a Credit Code to use on the store. Note that you can spend your credit on any item available. That way, you can choose your own mix to create or fluff up your armies.
Stretch goals are unlikely to be free. If the campaign works as intended, I already have sculpts to extend The Unseen range. I even have some more references for the Evil Men and the Good men. Stretch goals will unlock these new references to purchase from.
Postage
Postage will be from France.
Price will be calculated on the site and likely be a flat rate : 6€ for EU and 10€ for the rest of the world at the moment, subject to changes.

Risks & Challenges
The main risks are
delayed delivery for various reasons : masters breaking during the casting process is one. I have gained confidence in working with this caster and know how to build my masters to make them " cast proof " ; however, accidents happen and some repairs could be needed. Which brings me to the second point :
Minis not being 100% as advertised here in photographs : some minor tweaks can be necessary for casting purpose.
I trust these difficulties can be overcome if need be.

If you're not willing or capable to contribute financially to this campaign but still feel you'd want to see these miniatures in production, feel free to share the campaign around ! Digitally is great, but word of mouth is even better.
