The Sweney Tavern (Farnsworth house) from Buildings in Turmoil
The Sweney Tavern (Farnsworth house) was occupied by Confederate sharpshooters who fired from the small attic window on the south side of Baltimore st. It is assumed that the bullet that killed Jenny Wade in the Mclellan house came from this location. Shown below is Sweney tavern and Mclellan house respectively.
